Working Principle

Operation based on Triple-Modular Redundant (TMR) architecture: The AI2361 adopts an advanced triple-modular redundant structure, containing three independent and identical processing channels. Each channel can independently execute the control program and process input data. Taking digital input as an example, the three channels receive digital signals from field devices simultaneously, and then a hardware voting mechanism compares and judges these signals. If the results of two or more of the three channels are consistent, this result is recognized as a valid output, thus effectively avoiding the impact of single-point faults on the system.

Analog signal processing flow: For analog input signals, the front-end signal conditioning circuit first performs preprocessing such as filtering and amplification on the signals from field sensors to ensure the stability and accuracy of the signals. The preprocessed signals are transmitted to the three processing channels respectively. The analog-to-digital converter (ADC) in each channel converts the analog signals into digital signals, and then the digital signals enter the microprocessor of each channel for arithmetic processing. Finally, through the median selection algorithm, the median value is selected from the processed results of the three channels as the final analog output result. This method further improves the reliability and accuracy of analog processing.

Cooperative working mechanism with other modules: It communicates with other modules through a high-speed and reliable internal bus (such as TRIBUS). When interacting with input and output modules, it obtains real-time status data of field devices from the input module, processes it, and then sends control signals to the output module to drive the actuator to act. At the same time, it also cooperates with the communication module to transmit internal system data to external monitoring systems or other related devices, realizing remote monitoring and data sharing.
