The 3500 monitoring system power supply is a half - height module. It accepts a wide - range input voltage and converts it into the voltage required for the operation of other 3500 modules. The power supply consists of a main power module installed on the front of the frame and a power input module (PIM) on the back of the frame.
The main modules include AC main modules and DC main modules; and they are further divided into high - voltage and low - voltage types. As a result, there are four unique 3500/15 power supply ordering options: High - Voltage AC (HVAC), Low - Voltage AC (AC), High - Voltage DC (HVDC), and Low - Voltage DC (LVDC).
This product update notice is to inform customers that there is an updated design available for the AC version of the 3500/15 power supply. This updated design includes new ordering options and spare part numbers for the 3500/15 AC power supply. Currently, these new options and spare part numbers do not affect the DC model options and spare part numbers.
For the 3500/15 AC power supply, the design has been changed so that for all AC voltage input ranges from 85 to 264 Vac, the same model of main power supply module and power input module are used.

According to the schedule in Figure 3 above, you can now order the new general - purpose AC main modules and input modules for the 3500 system, and they can also be ordered as spare parts. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the affected customers and projects in advance to ensure a smooth transition.
We plan to continue to allow customers to order the old - model high - voltage AC, low - voltage AC power input modules, and old - model AC main modules only as spare parts (non - system) until the inventory of these old models is exhausted. This time is estimated to be within 1 - 2 months; after that, when ordering a new 3500 system, the old - model modules will no longer be provided.
