The Ge Fanuc DS200RTBAG3AFB Mark V relay terminal board is specially designed for Mark V series turbine control systems and manufactured by General Electric. Equipped with 10 relays, some of which adopt 115V AC coil voltage, differing from most similar boards using 110V DC or 24V DC. It features multiple configurable jumpers for flexible selection of internal/external power supplies. With 52 connector slots, it is compatible with various connectors like cph and cpn stab. Widely used in petroleum, natural gas, power and other industries, it provides reliable signal transmission and control connection for stable equipment operation.
GE Fanuc DS200RTBAG3AFB Mark V Relay Terminal Board is manufactured and designed by General Electric, belonging to the Mark V series, and is used in turbine control systems.
Hardware Specifications
Relays: The board is equipped with 10 relays positioned at K20-K29.
K20-K26: 7 DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw) relays, each with two C-type contacts and a contact rating of 10A.
K27-K29: 3 4PDT (Four Pole Double Throw) relays, each with four C-type contacts and a rating of 1A per contact.
These relays are protected by a 130VAC Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV). Some relay coils operate at 115V AC: K20-K26 use 115V AC coils with 10A DPDT contacts, while K27-K29 use 115V AC coils with 1A 4PDT contacts.
Jumpers: Berg-type hardware jumpers are adopted. The circuit board can be configured via jumpers to adapt to different applications, allowing the selection of external or internal power supply for each relay.
Connectors: The board's terminals have slots for up to 52 connectors, each fixed by individual screws. Compatible connectors include CPH and CPN plug connectors, Y9-Y35 connectors, K20-K26 connectors, 115V connectors, RX1-RX7 connectors, X2 connectors, etc.
PCB Coating: It is a printed circuit board with a general coating. The "G3" in the part number indicates a 3-group style PCB. Although it has a thick layer of protection, it is generally less comprehensively protected than a conformal-coated circuit board.
Functional Applications
It is part of the protection core and main trip circuit, featuring three sets of three emergency trip relays and at least two sets of main trip relays (PTR1 and 2). It also has four auxiliary control outputs for electrical lock solenoid valves, oil reset solenoid valves, mechanical lock solenoid valves, and oil test solenoid valves. It can perform various tests, such as actual electrical overspeed trip tests, mechanical trip piston tests, actual mechanical overspeed trip tests, TMR cross-trip tests, etc.
Installation Precautions
When installing, first remove the screws and washers fixing the board in the drive. During removal, prevent metal hardware from falling into the drive to avoid safety hazards or equipment damage.
Pay attention to various plastic brackets and clips during installation. For example, CP1PL-CP5PL and Y9PL-Y37PL connectors are fixed in place by built-in fixing clips. To release these connectors, press the connector lever; for cables with pull tabs, pull the tabs gently when releasing.
The GE Fanuc DS200RTBAG3AFB Mark V relay terminal board, as a key component of the steam turbine control system, is mainly applied to steam turbines in thermal power plants and nuclear power plants, as well as gas turbines in petroleum refining, natural gas transportation and other fields. It is responsible for safety functions such as emergency tripping control and overspeed protection, and can interact with sensors such as pressure and temperature sensors to achieve interlock protection for key equipment. It supports a triple modular redundancy architecture to enhance system reliability. In the monitoring of steam turbines in power plants, it is used for the main tripping circuit and emergency tripping system, and cooperates with DCS to realize dual redundancy of remote and local hard-wired protection. It is also suitable for the control of extraction valve solenoid valves in cogeneration systems and the load distribution of power generation and heating. At the same time, it drives solenoid valves such as electrical locking and oil reset through four auxiliary control outputs, and supports maintenance functions such as electrical overspeed trip tests. Its ordinary PCB coating makes it more suitable for indoor clean industrial environments. If installed in a sealed control cabinet, it can also be used in heavy industrial scenarios such as metallurgy and cement. The core value lies in building a safety protection logic closed loop for steam turbines and related power systems, and realizing the rapid response from signal acquisition to execution action through the electrical isolation and contact switching of relays to ensure the safe operation of industrial equipment.
