The CI801 3BSE022366R1 is a compact Fieldbus Communication Interface (FCI) module in ABB S800 I/O system. As a key component of the distributed modular process I/O system, it communicates with upper-level controllers and PLC via the PROFIBUS-DPV1 fieldbus. It can perform operations such as signal processing, monitoring information collection, OSP processing, hot configuration during operation, HART pass-through, and I/O module configuration.
