Structural Design

Shielded Board Structure: Adopting a shielding design, it can effectively reduce external electromagnetic interference, ensure the stability of high-voltage signal transmission, and prevent signal distortion from affecting measurement accuracy.

Terminal Configuration: Equipped with 26 screw terminals, among which 1 pair is used for chassis grounding connection of the SCXI-1124, and the remaining 24 terminals correspond to the 6 output channels of the module. This enables synchronous connection of multi-channel signals, meeting the requirements of parallel transmission of multiple signals.

Auxiliary Accessory Integration: Integrated with components including a strain relief bar, safety grounding tab and top cover plate. The strain relief bar can fix signal cables to prevent damage to the wiring points caused by cable pulling; the safety grounding tab provides additional safety protection for high-voltage scenarios.Environmental Adaptability & Safety StandardsEnvironmental Compatibility: Complies with the Installation Category II environmental requirements specified in IEC 664, suitable for local power supply connection scenarios; with a Pollution Degree of 2, it can operate stably in conventional industrial environments, and is approved for use at an altitude of up to 2000 meters.

Product Usage Instructions

Required Accessories

The use of the SCXI-1325 Terminal Block requires the following accessories: SCXI-1325 High-Voltage Terminal Block main unit, corresponding installation guide, SCXI chassis, SCXI-1124 module, as well as tools (No.1 and No.2 Phillips screwdrivers, 1/8-inch slotted screwdriver, needle-nose pliers, wire cutters, wire strippers).

Installation and Wiring Procedures

Wiring StepsRemove the terminal block top cover and strain relief bar first. Pass the signal cable through the strain relief opening, strip no more than 7 mm of the cable insulation layer, fully insert the exposed conductor into the screw terminal (ensuring no bare wire is exposed), and tighten the screw to a torque of 5–7 inch-pounds.If high voltage is present (≥30 V rms, 42.4 V peak, or 60 VDC), connect the safety ground wire to the safety grounding tab. Reinstall the strain relief bar and top cover at last.

Connection to ModuleMate the mating connector of the terminal block with the front connector of the SCXI module, then tighten the upper and lower wing screws on the back of the terminal block to ensure a secure connection.

Safe Operation Specifications

Environmental ProhibitionsDo not use the device in explosive environments or scenarios with flammable gases or fumes. Avoid contact with live circuits. Non-professionals shall not remove the equipment cover or shielding layer; all field power supplies must be disconnected before disassembly.

High-Voltage ProtectionWhen handling high-voltage signals, insulated cables that meet the voltage class requirements must be used. Ensure the circuit is de-energized before connecting or disconnecting signal wires to avoid electric shock risks caused by potential differences.Unauthorized component replacement or equipment modification is strictly prohibited. Damaged equipment must be inspected and repaired by professionals before reuse.
