Working Principle: The module has a built-in microprocessor, which can connect to the backplane of the Shark remote rack. With the help of basic buffer circuits and timing functions, it realizes data interaction with the AutoMax remote I/O network, ensuring accurate data transmission and synchronization.
Appearance: Composed of a printed circuit board and a front panel, the whole is a printed circuit board assembly. There are two green LED indicators on the front panel, marked "CPU OK" and "COM OK" respectively, which are used to display the operating status of the module; there is a bit number dial in the middle; there is also a 9-pin D-type female RS-232 serial connection port, marked "NETWORK", which is used for network connection; in addition, there are two small clips to assist in the installation and removal of the module in the rack.
Installation: It is a full-size module that needs to be inserted into the back of the Shark rack and should be installed in the first slot to the right of the power supply.
Power Requirements: The power supply for the logic circuit is provided by the rack it is connected to, with a rated voltage of +5VDC. The I/O network of the module is powered by different power supplies installed on the rack, with a rated voltage of +24VDC, which is regulated to +12VDC.
