ABB PM863K01 3BSE088381R1 AC 800M CONTROLLERS.The CPU board of the PM863 controller includes a microprocessor, RAM memory, a real-time clock, LED indicators, an INIT button, and a CompactFlash interface. Its base plate is equipped with two RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1, CN2) for connecting to the control network, as well as two RJ45 serial ports (COM3, COM4). Among them, COM3 is an RS-232C port with modem control signals, and COM4 is an isolated port used for connecting a configuration tool.
The controller supports CPU redundancy functionality to enhance availability, covering components such as the CPU, CEX bus, communication interfaces, and S800 I/O. High-integrity functionality can be enabled by adding the SM812 module and SIL-certified software. By means of plug-in SM81x modules and the selection of corresponding software, non-critical control schemes can be upgraded to SIL-certified ones. In addition, the AC 800M High-Integrity provides a control environment compliant with IEC 61508 and TÜV certification, which allows the integration of safety control and business-critical process control in the same controller unit without compromising safety integrity.
