The ABB NTCS04 terminal unit serves as a connection hub for SPCIS and SPQRS modules. It can receive various signals from field devices (such as analog signals and digital signals) and transmit these signals to the corresponding control I/O modules for processing. At the same time, it can also transfer the control signals sent by the control modules to the field devices, enabling effective monitoring and control of industrial processes. It is an important intermediate link connecting field devices and control systems, ensuring stable signal transmission and the normal operation of the system.

Supporting Cables
NKAS01/NKAS11: Used to connect the NTAI06 analog input terminal unit to the SPASI analog input module. One end is a single connector for the I/O module, and the other end has two connectors for the TU. Various lengths are available, and a non-PVC insulated version (NKAS11) is also provided.
NKCL01/NKCL11: Node-to-node PVC insulated cables for connecting two NTCL01 terminal units in different cabinets. Both ends are connected to NTCL01 via NKTL01 coaxial adapter cables. Various lengths are available, and a non-PVC insulated version (NKCL11) is also available.
NKLS01/NKLS11: PVC insulated cables for connecting the NTCL01 terminal unit to the SPNIS communication module. The SPNIS module end is a hooded connector, and the NTCL01 terminal unit end is a socket connector. The length can reach 50 feet, and a non-PVC insulated version (NKLS11) is available.
NKTL01: PTV insulated cable for connecting two NTCL01 terminal units (usually in different cabinets). One end is connected to NTCL01, and the other end is connected to NKCL01 via a coaxial adapter, with a length of 3 feet.
NKTT01: PVC insulated cable for connecting two NTCL01 terminal units in the same cabinet. Both ends are coaxial connectors, with a length of 3 feet.
NKPL01: Twinaxial cable that can be used to connect two NTCL01 terminal units. It is mainly used in older factory loop networks and supports slower speeds. Each end has three twinaxial cable leads, with a length of up to 100 feet.
NKDO01/NKDO11: PV insulated cables for connecting two NTDO02 terminal units. The lengths are 2, 3, and 5 feet, and a non-PVC insulated version (NKDO11) is available.
NKSD01: PVC insulated cable for connecting the SPSED SOE module to the NTDI01 terminal unit. The module end (SPSED) is a hooded connector, and the terminal unit (NTDI01) end is a socket connector, with a length of up to 25 feet.
NKST11: Non-PVC insulated cable for connecting the SOE module SPSET to the NTST01 terminal unit.
NKTK01: PVC insulated cable for connecting the SOE module SPTKM to the NTST01 terminal unit.
NKTU01/NKTU11: PVC insulated cables for connecting I/O modules to corresponding terminal units. The I/O module end is a hooded connector, and the terminal unit end is a socket connector, with a length of up to 200 feet. A non-PVC insulated version (NKTU11) is available.
Related Modules: Modules related to NTCS04 include control I/O modules such as SPCIS22 and SPQRS22. These two modules have the same function, but the response speed of SPQRS22 is approximately ten times that of SPCIS22. However, its noise resistance is lower, and each I/O channel can be programmed individually.
