Enterasys A4H124-24TX P0973JM Managed Switch

The Enterasys A4H124-24TX P0973JM is a 24-port copper managed switch belonging to the A4 series. It has been tested and certified to be compatible with the Foxboro DCS system. This switch can realize high-performance and full-featured Layer 2 Ethernet switching in small and medium-sized network applications. Meanwhile, it supports high-performance direct terminal connections, which can effectively interconnect system components (such as controllers, workstations, servers, etc.) and reduce the number and length of interconnection cables.

Main Features

Port Configuration: Equipped with 24 100Base-TX (RJ-45) ports, 2 fixed RJ-45 10/100/1000 ports (configurable as 100Base-TX or 1000Base-TX for device connection or use as ISL uplink ports), and 2 1000Base-X Gigabit uplink (SFP) ports.

Operation Mode: Supports full-duplex operation.

Network Functions: Supports VLAN configuration, features port mirroring technology and diagnostic functions, which can redirect local network traffic to external probes for detailed analysis.

Management Methods: Configuration tasks can be performed via the local console port (CLI), and monitoring can be done through any SNMP/RMON-based management application.

Power Redundancy: After installing an optional redundant power supply, single-point failures caused by power interruptions can be avoided (requires two independent branch circuits).

Installation Methods: Supports shelf, desktop, or 19-inch rack mounting.

Installation Guide

• Ventilation Requirements: To ensure proper ventilation and prevent overheating, a minimum clearance of 5.1 cm (2.0 inches) must be maintained at the top, bottom, left, right, and rear of the switch.
• Temperature Conditions: The ambient temperature at the switch's air intake must be maintained between 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F). The temperature change must not exceed 10°C (18°F) per hour; otherwise, equipment damage may occur.
