The
DS215SLCCG1AZZ01A is a local area
network (LAN) communication card developed by General Electric for the
Mark V series, which is mainly compatible with gas turbine control systems. Its core function is to establish a communication bridge between drive devices, actuators and the local area network, while realizing data interaction and command transmission among multiple modules, serving as a key component to ensure the stable network communication of gas turbine control systems.
This board integrates a variety of circuit and interface designs suitable for industrial scenarios, can be compatible with different network protocols, and meets the communication requirements under complex industrial working conditions. Its supporting manual number is GEI-100162 B, which can provide complete installation and operation and maintenance guidance.

Core Structure and Functions
The board integrates both isolated circuits and non-isolated circuits, which work in synergy to ensure the stability and security of communication for drive devices or actuators, preventing signal interference or circuit faults from affecting the communication link. In addition, it is equipped with a 16-bit alphanumeric display and its corresponding display controller U18, which can realize status visualization in conjunction with programming modules.
The board achieves multi-dimensional connection through 5 dedicated PL interfaces:
- 2PL: Responsible for transmitting power and I/O signals with power boards, drive terminal boards, etc.
- 3PL: Used to receive input signals from the drive control card and complete data interaction with the drive control processor via dual-port RAM.
- 10PL: Connects to the LAN I/O terminal board to realize the input and output of LAN signals.
- ARCPL: Undertakes the I/O transmission of DLAN and ARCNET signals.
KPPL: Serves as a keyboard programming interface, facilitating users to retrieve system parameters, perform fault diagnosis, and conduct parameter configuration.

This board belongs to the G1 version of the SLCC boards in the Mark V series, and there is a clear functional distinction among boards in the same series. In addition to this model, there are other versions: the G2 version (DS215SLCCG2A__) only retains the DLAN network connection circuit; the G4 version (DS215SLCCG4A__) does not include the adaptation circuits for either DLAN or ARCNET networks. Users can select the corresponding version according to their actual network requirements.
During installation, it is necessary to strictly follow the installation parameters specified by GE to ensure compatibility with supporting components of the Mark V series, such as the DS200IMCP power board and DS200SDCC drive control card. Signals must be transmitted through designated interfaces. For example, signals accessed via the 3PL interface need to be transmitted to the core bus in compliance with specifications to avoid abnormal signal transmission. When routing cables, priority should be given to using the compatible RG-62A coaxial cable to ensure network communication quality. For specific wiring specifications, refer to the interface pin definition instructions in the supporting manual.
