FAQ

Q1: The power indicator of DSTA131 does not light up after power-on.
A1: ① Check whether the 24VDC power wiring is correct and the voltage is within the normal range (24V±10%). ② Inspect for loose power terminals. ③ Replace the power module or board to troubleshoot hardware faults.
Q2: Inaccurate and highly fluctuating analog readings on a single channel.
A2: ① Check the integrity of the channel fuse and replace it with a 1A fuse (3BSC770001R14) if needed. ② Check loose sensor wiring and proper grounding of the shield layer. ③ Recalibrate channel parameters and verify matching of signal type and measuring range. ④ Eliminate on-site electromagnetic interference and keep the device away from inverters, motors and other equipment.
Q3: The system fails to detect the unit after connection with ABB DSAI130 AI card.
A3: ① Ensure the dedicated ribbon cable is fully seated and no pins are bent. ② Confirm model compatibility between DSTA131 and DSAI130 (e.g. DSAI130K18). ③ Restart the controller and rescan hardware. ④ Update system firmware to ensure full compatibility.
Q4: Can the unit work properly when ambient temperature exceeds 55℃?
A4: Long-term operation at excessive temperature is prohibited. It will lead to reduced accuracy, accelerated component aging and even permanent damage to the board. Take heat dissipation measures such as installing fans and optimizing cabinet ventilation to keep the temperature within the range of -25℃ ~ +55℃.
Q5: Does it support hot swapping? Is system shutdown required for replacement?
A5: Hot swapping is supported. No shutdown is required when replacing single-channel fuses or the board, and the operation of other channels will not be affected, delivering convenient maintenance.
