The Toshiba HCV-5HA-80 is a medium-voltage vacuum contactor launched by Toshiba International Corporation (TIC) and belongs to the HCV-5HA series. Designed for 2.4–6.6 kV medium-voltage AC systems, it features a rated operating current of 400 A and a thermal stable current of 450 A. Adopting vacuum interrupters and a compact, lightweight structure, it requires no external surge suppressors. Suited for harsh operating conditions with heavy dust and heavy loads, it is widely applied for frequent switching control of industrial motors, transformers and capacitor banks.
