Product Advantages

  • Native Compatibility: Fully optimized for Alstom CE2000 controllers. Plug-and-play without additional driver configuration, enabling seamless system integration.
  • Wide Voltage Range & Stable Acquisition: Supports 19.2–34 V DC input to accommodate fluctuations of industrial 24V power supply. It performs synchronous acquisition across 16 channels with zero delay. Adopting negative logic (positive pole for common terminal), it is compatible with mainstream industrial sensors and actuators.
  • Industrial-grade Reliability: Manufactured in France, the module complies with CE certification and industrial EMC standards. It withstands extreme temperatures from -25℃ to +70℃, and delivers excellent vibration and electromagnetic interference resistance for harsh working conditions.
  • Easy Maintenance: Modular plug-in design allows quick replacement without disconnecting wiring. On-board status LEDs indicate channel operation and faults in real time, lowering maintenance difficulty.

  • Rail Transit & Energy Management: Equipment status monitoring and signal collection for power supply systems of rail transit and industrial energy management systems.

Operation Guide

Pre-installation Preparation

  1. Confirm the controller model is Alstom CE2000. Perform all operations with the power off; hot swapping is prohibited.
  2. Check the module for surface damage and bent pins. Prepare matching guide rails and terminal blocks.

Hardware Installation

  1. Slide the module along the controller guide rails and fasten the latch to ensure tight connection with the controller backplane bus.
  2. Wiring: Connect the positive pole of 24 V DC power supply to the module common terminal, and the negative pole to the output terminals of sensors/actuators. Wire each digital signal channel securely.

System Configuration

  1. Power on the system. Launch the ALSPA configuration software to identify the module, which will automatically assign addresses for the 16 input channels.
  2. Adjust signal filtering parameters (default: 10ms) according to on-site interference. The channel negative logic is set by default and normally requires no modification.

Commissioning & Maintenance

  1. Check LED indicators: The LED lights up when the channel is on and turns off when off. Troubleshoot wiring and sensors in case of abnormalities.
  2. Monitor channel status via controller software to ensure normal signal acquisition. Regularly clean dust from heat dissipation grooves to avoid poor heat dissipation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which controllers is LE108A-3 compatible with? Can it replace other models?
A: It is exclusively designed for Alstom CE2000 controllers and is a dedicated module of the P320 series. It cannot directly replace non-ALSPA modules, while it can work compatibly with other P320 I/O cards such as LC105A-2.
Q: Will the module be damaged if the input voltage exceeds 24V?
A: The module supports a wide voltage range of 19.2–34 V DC, so normal voltage fluctuations will not cause issues. Long-term operation above 34V or below 19.2V will lead to abnormal signal acquisition. A regulated power supply is recommended.
Q: The channel LED is off and no signal is received. How to troubleshoot?
A: ① Verify 24V power wiring and ensure the common terminal is connected to the positive pole; ② Check for faulty sensors or actuators; ③ Confirm firm connection between the module and controller bus; ④ Restart the controller or replace the module for testing.
Q: Is hot swapping allowed?
A: Hot swapping is strictly forbidden, as it will burn out the module bus interface and controller backplane. Always cut off the power before installation or removal.
Q: Is severe heat generation during operation normal?
A: The normal operating temperature ranges from 40℃ to 60℃. If the temperature exceeds 70℃, clean dust in heat dissipation grooves and improve ventilation.
Q: Can the number of channels be expanded? How?
A: Each module has a fixed 16 channels and cannot be expanded individually. For more channels, install multiple LE108A-3 modules in parallel on the controller guide rails and assign different addresses via software.
Q: Is system reconfiguration required after replacing with a spare module?
A: Direct replacement with the same model is supported. The controller will automatically recognize the module and load original configurations. No reprogramming is needed, and commissioning can be performed right after replacement.
