GE 029.381539/00 Industrial Control Module (Reuter-Stokes UV Flame Detector Unit)
The GE 029.381539/00 receives ultraviolet flame signals from the matched 350-003-000 UV flame probe installed in the combustion chamber. It amplifies, filters and performs threshold judgment on weak pulse signals, then outputs discrete and analog signals for flame presence / flame loss to the Mark VI / Mark VIe gas turbine control system to implement combustion protection interlock. In case of combustion chamber flameout, this module quickly triggers a flame loss signal to initiate gas turbine trip protection, preventing explosion hazards caused by accumulation of unburnt fuel. As a critical safety component of the gas turbine FSSS (Fuel Safety System), it complies with SIL2 safety integrity level per IEC61508.

Key Features
- UV Spectrum Discrimination: Detects only flame-specific ultraviolet wavelengths. It effectively rejects high-temperature infrared radiation from the furnace, furnace reflection and ambient electromagnetic interference to reduce false and missed alarms.
- Adjustable Threshold & Delay: Flame judgment threshold and flameout delay can be configured on-site to adapt to various combustion conditions and avoid false trips triggered by transient signal fluctuations during startup and shutdown.
- Dual Signal Output: Dry contacts for safety interlock protection; 4-20mA analog signal for real-time flame intensity monitoring and trend recording in the host control system.
- Built-in Self-Diagnosis: The module monitors probe wire breakage, power supply abnormality and hardware faults, and sends fault alarms to the gas turbine control system to facilitate predictive maintenance.
- Rugged Industrial Design: Vibration-resistant and EMI-resistant, suitable for high-temperature and strong electromagnetic environments inside gas turbine cabinets in power plants.
