Installation is prohibited in environments with strong magnetic fields, direct sunlight, rapid temperature changes, or high explosion risk. For Zone 2 hazardous areas, the unit must be installed in an enclosure with IP54–IP65 protection. For Zone 22 environments, the unit must be installed in an enclosure with IP64–IP65 protection.
Chemical Resistance
Metal enclosure:Powder coating resists common industrial media including 10% acetic acid, diesel fuel, seawater, and 20% sulfuric acid.Resistance to 5% hydrochloric acid and isopropanol is limited.Contact with highly corrosive substances such as concentrated acetic acid, acetone, concentrated ammonia water, and 30% nitric acid is strictly forbidden.
Screen surface (Autotex F150):Resists exposure for over 24 hours to ethanol, diesel fuel, hydrochloric acid below 36%, nitric acid below 10%, etc.Not resistant to high-pressure steam (>100℃), concentrated inorganic acids, or concentrated alkaline solutions.
Display surface:Allows short-term contact: acetone (10 min), isopropanol (10 min), toluene (5 hours). It is recommended to use ABB original Autoflex EBA 180L protective film (RX877K) for improved protection.

Installation and Safety Specifications
Installation Requirements
Installation shall only be carried out by qualified professionals. Ensure the electrical grounding of the panel and the controller is consistent. High-voltage cables shall be routed separately from signal and power cables; shielded communication cables are recommended.A power-on test shall be performed before installation. The panel must return to ambient temperature before being powered on to prevent damage caused by condensation.
Use short and thick grounding conductors (braided grounding wire is recommended) to complete grounding connections in sequence:panel to chassis, chassis to cabinet door, cabinet door to equipment cabinet. The 24V power cable can be wound 2–3 turns around a ferrite core to suppress electromagnetic interference.
For Ethernet wiring, attention shall be paid to shield grounding to avoid ground loops caused by grounding at both ends.Optimization can be achieved by single‑end grounding or series connection with a 0.1 μF/250V capacitor to ground.
Safe Operation
The panel must not be used to control safety functions such as emergency stop.Do not touch the display and keypad with sharp objects.Prevent liquids and metal chips from entering the openings of the panel to avoid short circuits or fire hazards.
Disconnect the power supply before cleaning. Wipe with a soft cloth and neutral cleaning agent. The use of highly corrosive cleaning agents is strictly prohibited.
