Technical Features

High Channel Density Integrated Design

Equipped with 16 independent dynamic signal channels. Each channel supports a maximum sampling rate of 20kHz with frequency response ranging from DC to 10kHz, compatible with inputs from acceleration, velocity and displacement vibration sensors.

Function-Partitioned Hardware Architecture

The XMV16 board handles signal acquisition and spectrum calculation, while the XIO16T board undertakes digital communication and discrete alarm output. The two boards operate in matched coordination. Physical isolation is implemented between signal processing circuits and communication links to mitigate interference risks.

Full Compatibility with All Types of Sensors

Supports eddy current displacement probes, IEPE acceleration sensors, magnetoelectric velocity sensors and dynamic pressure sensors. Channel parameters can be freely configured via software without hardware jumper modifications.

Support for System Hot-Swap

Modules can be plugged and replaced while the rack remains powered. The backplane automatically identifies hardware upon insertion, and the supporting software loads original channel configurations automatically, drastically shortening equipment downtime for maintenance.

Comprehensive Built-In BIST Self-Test Function

Continuously monitors sensor loop impedance, channel signal amplitude and DSP computing load of the board. Fault signals can trigger the full protection system through the system safety bus to switch equipment to a safe steady state, avoiding false unit trips.

Standardized Industrial Communication

The XIO16T board integrates Ethernet and fieldbus interfaces for direct connection to upper-level DCS and PLC control systems. It supports Modbus TCP/RTU protocols to transmit real-time vibration amplitude and spectrum alarm data.

FAQ

Q1: Can the two modules 200-560-000-113 and 620-002-000-213 be directly interchanged?

A1: They cannot be directly hot-swapped for replacement. Model 200-560-000-113 is compatible with the first-generation VM600 6U rack and features a sprayed front panel. Model 620-002-000-213 is the Mk2 second-generation unit with a bare aluminum panel, designed for the new slim rack. There are minor differences in the backplane bus protocols. To replace modules across generations, both the rack and controller hardware must be replaced simultaneously.

Q2: When purchasing this module, do I need to place a separate order for the matching XIO16T board?

A2: The part number 200-560-000-113 represents a complete assembled set consisting of the XMV16 processing board plus the XIO16T interface board. The full assembly is supplied as a single unit, so there is no need to purchase the two boards separately.

Q3: What is the maximum number of 200-560-000-113 module sets that can be installed in a single ABE042 rack?

A3: The ABE042 6U rack has a total of 21 standard VME slots. Each module set occupies 2 adjacent slots. After reserving slots for the CPUM controller and power supply, a maximum of 8 sets of this monitoring module can be connected in parallel within one rack.

Q4: Does this module carry SIL safety certification and can it be used in unit safety protection loops?

A4: This module is only responsible for vibration condition monitoring and spectrum analysis. It has no hardware safety trip output and does not hold SIL2 safety certification. If safety-certified unit protection functionality is required, the MPC4 series protection modules must be purchased as matching accessories.

Q5: The channel indicator light flashes green continuously during module operation. What fault does this indicate, and how should it be resolved?

A5: Continuous green flashing indicates an abnormal sensor loop. Common root causes include broken sensor probe wiring, multi-point grounding of the extension cable shield, and probe gap voltage exceeding the calibrated range.Resolution steps: Cut power first to check cable continuity, readjust the probe mounting clearance, ensure the shield is only single-point grounded inside the control cabinet, then restart the unit to run self-test again.

Q6: The software prompts DSP overload and channel filter failure. What is the root cause?

A6: Enabling high-slope wideband filters for multiple channels simultaneously will cause the DSP computing load to exceed its rated limit.Maintenance solutions: Reduce the slope of high-pass and low-pass filters for each channel, narrow the sampling bandwidth per channel, and decrease the volume of synchronous spectrum calculation tasks across multiple channels.

Q7: After hot-swapping and replacing the module, the upper monitoring software fails to recognize the new module. How can this fault be fixed?

A7: The backplane fails to complete hardware identification after plugging/unplugging. Follow these operation steps: Fully power off the rack controller for 3 minutes, then restore power. Open the VibroSight software and rescan rack hardware; the software will automatically load the original channel configurations of the new module without requiring manual parameter reconfiguration.
