Product Overview
The VM600 MPC4 is the core DSP‑based processing card for the VM600 TSI machinery protection system. It is designed for rotating equipment such as steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, generators and pumps, delivering real‑time monitoring of vibration, shaft displacement and rotational speed, as well as hardware‑based protection trip functions.
Protection logic operates completely independent of host‑level software. Loss of communication link will not affect protection trip outputs.
MPC4 (200‑510‑076‑114)
Performs signal acquisition, DSP calculation, alarm threshold judgement and protection logic processing. Mounted in the front‑side slot of the rack.
IOC4T (200‑510‑111)
Matching rear‑mount I/O card. It provides sensor power supply, analog outputs, relay outputs and bus interfaces. Installed at the rear side of the same slot, and must be paired one‑to‑one with the MPC4 card.

- Compatible racks: Full range of VM600 racks including ABE040, ABE042 and ABE056
Hot‑swap supported: Protection logic keeps running without interruption during on‑line card replacement.
Application Fields
TSI protection for thermal‑power steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, fans, generator sets and petrochemical rotating equipment. Complies with API 670 machinery protection specifications.
