Overview
Woodward 3522‑1004 EM‑Driver EM‑80/EM‑300 Buffer Module is a buffer and power drive unit for all‑electric rotary actuators. This unit works with both EM‑80 and EM‑300 actuators via software configuration without hardware modification. Woodward 3522‑1004 receives position command signals from upper‑level speed governing controllers, generates three‑phase drive outputs for brushless servo motor, meanwhile reads resolver position feedback to build closed‑loop position control. It applies to fuel rack and fuel valve positioning for large gas engines, diesel engines and small gas turbines. It removes requirements for hydraulic oil supply and lowers site maintenance workload. Woodward 3522‑1004 integrates power board and control board within one housing, embedded alarm and diagnostic functions to report overload, feedback loss and communication errors for actuator system protection.
