EP3-E-4-A is a core controller module in the EPIC III (Electrostatic Precipitator Integrated Controller) series by Alstom. As a third-generation microprocessor-based industrial control unit, it is specially designed for industrial automation scenarios and electrostatic precipitator (ESP) control systems, featuring three core advantages: high performance, high reliability and flexible configuration.

Integrating an advanced hardware architecture and intelligent software algorithms, this module can operate as a standalone control unit or connect with multiple modules via an Ethernet switch to achieve multi-zone coordinated control. It accurately executes complex control logic and data processing tasks while adapting to harsh industrial environments.   • Power Parameters: Input voltage supports 24V DC (some configurations are compatible with AC24V ±5%); certain models can adapt to a wide voltage range of 110V–220V. Output voltage is 0–10V DC, with other output ranges customizable on request. Rated power can reach up to 4kW, and current ratings cover 4A to 18A to meet various load requirements.
  • Environmental Adaptability: Operating temperature range is -40℃ to +85℃, with some models rated at -20℃ to +60℃. When process conditions such as gas temperature, dust composition, and gas flow direction change significantly, it automatically maintains the spark rate within an appropriate range and adjusts rectifier parameters in real time to ensure stable ESP efficiency.It supports six preset operating modes, each with 11 configurable parameters, allowing fast switching according to variations in boiler load and other operating conditions without manual readjustment, greatly improving operational convenience.Equipped with the built-in EPOQ (ESP Optimal Q Algorithm), it automatically selects the optimal intermittent power supply ratio and measured ESP current values, achieving maximum dust collection efficiency under varying load conditions and helping enterprises meet emission targets.

Personnel can monitor operating parameters and alarm status in real time via a web browser, PC‑MTU software, or FD_Ctrl device, and perform remote parameter configuration and alarm reset, reducing on-site maintenance costs and improving efficiency.A built-in alarm log stores the latest ten alarm events (since power‑on), including warning alarms and trip alarms, supporting fault cause analysis and system parameter optimization.It provides ESP master control functionality: one EP3‑E‑4‑A configured as the master unit can control all modules within a specified address range on the Ethernet system, enabling batch parameter modification and global reset to simplify system management. It also supports parameter copy functions in PC‑MTU software, allowing quick replication of settings from the master module to slave modules for enhanced configuration efficiency.
