The IS220PCNOH1B is a communication gateway unit supporting GE Mark VIe distributed turbine control systems, defined as a CANopen master conversion module in hardware architecture. It fulfills bidirectional protocol conversion between the IONet industrial Ethernet bus and standard CANopen fieldbus.
Equipped with an independent protocol processing chip, the module can be directly installed into I/O racks of Mark VIe systems. It connects downstream field devices complying with the CANopen CiA301 specification, including servo drives, remote data acquisition nodes, valve positioners and intelligent transmitters. Upstream, it exchanges real-time process data, fault alarms and equipment status signals with Mark VIe controllers.

It resolves communication compatibility issues where third-party CANopen smart devices cannot be directly connected to GE main control systems, and is widely deployed in control architectures of power generation, oil & gas refining units operating 24/7 without interruption.
