Emerson A6500-RC is a
16-channel output relay module specially designed for critical rotating machinery in plants, featuring high reliability and strong adaptability. Its core function is to work with the
AMS 6500 ATG to build a complete machinery protection and monitoring system compliant with the API 670 standard, and it is widely applied to core equipment such as steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors and hydraulic turbomachinery.
This module can flexibly receive clear, alert or alarm signals from each channel as inputs, and complete configuration through Boolean logic operation, time delay setting and matching output relay selection. Meanwhile, relying on easy-to-operate software, it provides graphical logic display and guides users to complete the configuration process in a visual manner, which greatly reduces the operational complexity.
In addition, as an important component of the AMS 6500 Machinery Health Monitor, it seamlessly integrates into the PlantWeb and AMS software ecosystem. The former enables linkage with the Ovation and DeltaV process control systems to deliver operation-integrated machinery health monitoring; the latter provides maintenance personnel with advanced predictive and performance diagnostic tools, helping to identify machine faults early and accurately and ensuring the stable operation of equipment.
