ABB 804A005-1 is a dedicated Flame Photometric Detector (FPD) amplifier assembly matched with the second-generation PGC5000 process gas chromatograph. It has two hardware revisions, V1 and V2, and serves as the core sensing unit for online industrial detection of trace sulfur and phosphorus components.

This unit integrates a photomultiplier tube, high-voltage ignition circuit, gain adjustment circuit and supporting constant-temperature structure. It is compatible with PGC5000B and PGC5000C intelligent column ovens, as well as the PGC5007 total sulfur analyzer. It enables continuous online measurement of sulfides and organophosphorus compounds at ppb levels.
