The ICS TRIPLEX T8110C a core triple modular redundant communication processor module for the Trusted T8000 safety fault-tolerant control system, is coated with a three-proof protective layer. It undertakes multiple core functions including internal system bus data scheduling, cross-chassis communication relay, protocol interaction with third-party equipment, and sequence-of-event (SOE) event caching and synchronization.
The hardware is equipped with a complete Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) voting architecture, where all computing and communication links operate in three independent parallel channels with cross-verification. A single channel fault will not cause system outage, making the module suitable for safety-critical working conditions requiring SIL 3 integrity level.
Compared with the basic model T8110B of the same series, this unit features conformal coating covering the entire circuit board. It can resist erosion from high humidity, salt spray, dust and condensed moisture, and is applicable to harsh site environments such as offshore platforms, open-air chemical plants and high-dust power plants. It is designed for standard mounting in the T8100 controller chassis, and can be combined with various communication adapter cards and I/O modules to build a complete fault-tolerant control platform.
