The ICS TRIPLEX T8310 Trusted TMR Expander Processor is a 40-channel Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) 24Vdc digital input module. It achieves excellent fault tolerance through the TMR architecture, capable of connecting 40 field input devices, and is widely applicable to safety-related systems. Its core features are remarkable: each input channel adopts the TMR architecture, and the input voltage is measured by a Σ-Δ input circuit, combined with on-board diagnostic tests to achieve comprehensive fault detection and fault tolerance; it supports independent configuration of line monitoring functions for each channel, enabling accurate detection of open and short circuits in field cables; it is equipped with an on-board Sequence of Events (SOE) reporting function with a resolution of 1ms, and status changes are determined by configurable voltage thresholds; it provides a 2500V pulse-withstand optical/electrical isolation barrier, fully meeting safety isolation requirements; it supports hot replacement, which can be realized through dedicated Companion Slot (adjacent slot) or SmartSlot (shared spare slot) configurations for online replacement; the front panel is equipped with input status LEDs and module status LEDs, which respectively indicate the status of each channel, wiring faults, as well as the health status and operating modes (Active, Standby, Educated) of the module.
