This module supports IEC 61131‑3 programming and integrates functions such as fault diagnosis, time-stamped event logging and IRIG‑B time synchronization. It is certified to IEC 61508 SIL 3. The coated version enhances adaptability to harsh environments, making it suitable for severe industrial conditions including high humidity, high salt spray and dust, effectively extending service life and operational reliability. It serves as the core computing unit for safety control in high-risk processes.

Key Features
- Safety & Redundant Architecture
- Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR 3‑2‑0) for fault‑tolerant operation; single‑channel faults do not affect control, and dual‑channel faults trigger safe shutdown.
- Hardware Implemented Fault Tolerance (HIFT) architecture enables ultra‑fast fault detection and response with bumpless automatic handling.
- Time‑stamped fault history for easy troubleshooting and maintenance traceability.
- Certified to IEC 61508 SIL 3, complying with Safety Instrumented Function (SIF) requirements.
- Ease of Operation & Maintenance
- Supports hot swapping / hot replacement without system shutdown or program reloading.
- Bumpless switchover between primary and standby processors with online synchronization, ensuring uninterrupted control.
- Front‑panel LEDs clearly indicate health, primary/standby status, operation and fault conditions.
- Front‑panel RS232 diagnostic port for convenient commissioning, configuration and programming.
- Communication & Time Synchronization
- Front‑panel RS232 diagnostic port; rear 2‑channel RS422/485 and 1‑channel RS485 serial ports.

FAQ

Installation & Maintenance Notes
- Take proper ESD precautions before installation; do not touch pins and inspect for physical damage.
- Insert the module into the slot and secure the ejector latch; power-on self-test is complete when front-panel LEDs illuminate.
- Primary/standby configuration: By default, slot 0 of chassis 1 acts as the master controller, with the standby slot synchronizing automatically.
- Maintenance must be performed by qualified personnel; hot swapping is permitted only in non-hazardous areas.
- Record fault codes before performing fault reset, then press the reset button to avoid losing historical fault data.
- Do not grind or scratch the coating on the coated version, as this may damage its protective properties.
