The T8290 is a dedicated output power distribution unit for the ICS Triplex Trusted series under Rockwell Automation. It distributes 24 V DC to 120 V DC field positive power and 0 V reference circuits for Trusted sourcing output modules. Mounted on DIN rails above the I/O terminals of output modules, it is only applicable to standard digital sourcing output module applications.

If the project adopts analog output modules that obtain the 0 V reference via multi-functional field terminal assemblies, the equivalent series model T8297 with diode protection shall be used as a replacement. This unit is compatible with Trusted system version 3.6.1 and serves as an auxiliary power supply accessory for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). Installation and maintenance work must only be performed by personnel qualified to operate electronic safety systems.
