WOODWARD 9906-619 is the low-voltage hardware version of the 723PLUS series digital controller, paired with the 8280-1092 application program.Designed specifically for gas, diesel and dual-fuel reciprocating engines, it serves as an industrial-grade speed governing and control core integrating speed regulation, load sharing, synchronization control and protection logic.
It is widely used in power generation, marine propulsion, industrial drive and other applications. Featuring programmability, multiple I/O points, strong anti-interference capability and complete certifications, it can be commissioned and configured via a handheld programmer or PC software.

Installation & Commissioning Guidelines
- ESD Protection: Discharge static electricity before operation; handle PCB by edges only.
- Power Supply: Low-voltage version must not exceed 18–40 Vdc; a battery charger is required for battery-powered systems.
- Wiring: Use shielded twisted-pair cables for signals, with single-point grounding of shields.
- Jumpers: 10 internal jumpers for output type and sensor type configuration (default: MPU).
- Commissioning: Enter Configure menu with engine stopped; adjust parameters in Service menu during operation, and save settings to EEPROM.
- Communication: Terminate both ends of RS-485 with 100–120 Ω resistors; place RS-422 termination at the farthest receiver.
