HIMA F3319 is a safety-related control card of HIMA F series from Germany. As a core component for HIMatrix/HIQuad X platforms, it is designed for industrial Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). It executes critical safety logics such as Emergency Shutdown (ESD) and Burner Management System (BMS). Certified by TÜV for SIL 3, it complies with IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 functional safety standards, and is widely applied in high-risk industries including petrochemical, power and energy sectors.

FAQ

Q: Is F3319 compatible with legacy HIMA systems such as H41q?
A: Yes. It can connect to H41q/H51q platforms via adapters and support protocol conversion, with no need for overall system replacement.
Q: Does the SIL 3 certification of F3319 apply to all operating scenarios?
A: Yes. Its TÜV certification complies with IEC 61508-1~7, meeting SIL 3 safety requirements for petroleum, chemical, power and other industries. SIL 4 certification assessment is available for special applications such as nuclear power.
Q: The ALM indicator flashes after power-on. How to troubleshoot?
A: 1. Check if the 24VDC power supply is within the normal range of 20.4–28.8V;

4. Verify complete program download and reload the program if necessary.
Q: Communication between F3319 and DCS is interrupted with "Communication Timeout" shown in SILworX. How to fix it?

2. Confirm F3319 and DCS are on the same network segment with no IP conflict;
3. Verify the Modbus TCP port number (default: 502);
4. Disable port blocking and allow relevant communication ports on the firewall.
Q: Accidental ESD activation occurs during operation. How to locate the cause?

2. Check field sensors for false alarms caused by loose wiring or interference;
